In Memoriam
London Symphonia is deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Noam Chernick, husband of Beryl Chernick, a Past President of the London Symphonia Board of Directors. Dr. Chernick was a passionate supporter of the orchestra and a tireless volunteer. Music was a lifelong interest that began at an early age. At Oakwood Collegiate in Toronto, he was a member of an award winning a cappella choir and President of the student orchestra. As an adult, he sang in the synagogue choir and improvised both music and lyrics. The flute remained his love, an instrument he played throughout his life.
We are deeply grateful to the Chernick family for establishing The Noam Chernick Memorial Fund for Music Inspiring the Young.
