We are proud to present an evening of extraordinary music performed with exceptional artistry that will sweep you away, and make you listen anew!

Come to A Bohemian Life and experience one of our most intriguing concerts this Season, brimming with highlights you won’t want to miss:

  • The World Premiere of Lasker-Schüler Songs composed by our own Scott Good. Midori Marsh’s unique counter-culture virtuosity will bring the poems by the radical poet and Bohemian artist Else Lasker-Schüler to life.

  • A very special performance of Dvořák’s “Silent Woods” by Christine Newland, principal cello with London Symphonia and Orchestra London for 48 years. There is no finer way to recognize Christine’s retirement from the orchestra than her performance of this much cherished piece with her colleagues.

  • Debussy’s beautiful symphonic poem, Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, which heralded a revolution in music over 100 years ago and still creates a magical effect for listeners today.

  • Dvořák’s glorious Symphony No. 8, full of sunshine and dancing, inspired by the folk music of his native Bohemia.
