EXPERIENCE THE MUSIC BEHIND THE SCENES!

Attending an Open Rehearsal offers students a unique opportunity to see London Symphonia onstage as the musicians prepare for an upcoming concert.

Ahead of time, teachers will receive a music enrichment package containing background information on the composers and the works being rehearsed, along with a PDF of the instrumental parts so that students can follow along during the rehearsal and classroom study.

After the 70-minute rehearsal, there will be a 10-minute talk and Q&A session with Scott Good, Head, School Education Programs.  Whenever possible, a guest conductor or featured artist will also participate.

Special Highlight: The 2pm rehearsal on January 16 will include a special appearance by violinist Lara St. John rehearsing with the orchestra — a rare treat for students to witness a world-class soloist in action.
