Scott Good, Conductor | Light of East Ensemble, Guest Artists
London Symphonia together with special guest the Light of East Ensemble present a tapestry of musical selections from the Eastern Mediterranean, in this concert for all ages. The program will include folk, Classical Arabic, and Greek Rembetika, as well as 20th century urban music from regions like Armenia, Turkey, Syria and Israel, with new arrangements by conductor and composer-in-residence Scott Good.
Those who are curious may visit our instrument petting zoo following the performance, and get close to the beautiful hand-made instruments they have just heard performed.
